Development of Color Reversal Films with Improved Granularity

Abstract

The images of color reversal films are often enlarged by high magnification. Therefore, it is very important to improve their granularities.
In the summer of 2000, we released two new color reversal films having ISO speed of 100 and 400 with much finer granularity than those of their predecessors.
In this paper, we will describe the significance to improve granularity of color reversal films and show the new technologies used in the two new films.
