On Demand Publishing, Past, Present and Future

Abstract

In this paper we surveyed the current status of book delivery system, and describe new on-demand publishing for circulating books using network system with on-demand printing system. Various systems on market or proposed are compared and our new on-demand real-time publishing system, “eBook” is introduced that keeps intimacy easily with final users.
