Image Stability of a New Silver Halide Color Paper and Its Evaluation Method

Abstract

We have developed and released a new silver halide color paper (EVER-BEAUTY PAPER TYPE II), to which new couplers with high tolerance especially for gases are introduced to improve its image stability. In this report, methods for evaluating actual lifetime of images in digital printing materials are examined from various viewpoints. On the basis of these examinations, a comparison was properly made in image stability among various printing materials including the above-stated new paper, current papers and ink jet printing materials.
