Last autumn, I presented a paper entitled “The Comparison of Image S t ab i 1 i t ies of Photographs at long term dark Condi t ion between these Stabi 1 i t ies by accelerated Test” At this meeting, I reported on research in which samples that had suffered actual image deterioration during long-term storage (6-10 years) were subjected to further storage of 6 to 10 years under the recommended conditions for long-term storage (7°C, 40% RH), during which time I confirmed the nearly total inhibition of image deterioration.
