On the Theory of the Meson Decay

Abstract

By combining Yukawa's theory of nuclear forces(1), with Fermi's theory of the beta-disintegration(2), a new theory of the meson decay is proposed. The resulting lifetime of the meson is in reasonable acconl with cosmic ray observations
