Abstract
The new commercial synthetic processes of tricalcium phosphates (α-TCP, β-TCP), tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP) were developed. Chemical and x-ray diffraction analysis indicated that these products were pure materials not containing other calcium phosphate phases. The hydration hardening processes of the materials were examined and it is expected that these products can be used as basic materials of biomedical cements.
