Abstract
The segmented core motor has been developed to increase the productivity of the motor assembly line, on the other hand that has a drawback to increase the iron loss in the stator core. In this study, we have developed a new segmented core motor, which can be generated higher efficiency in comparison with that of the conventional segmented core motor, by applying the grain oriented electrical steel sheet. In order to verify the usefulness of the grain oriented electrical steel sheet, B-H characteristics in the stator core were measured by using the exciting inner core method. As a result, It was found that to decrease the iron loss and the high efficiency in the grain oriented electrical steel sheet.
