Abstract
The purpose of this paper is that firstly the problem for making knowledge-intensive of the construction industry is examined, and then the contract form and risk management in putting especially is focused. It is required to be based for making knowledge-intensive, because this makes the construction industry develop itself and can contribute to the society.
To begin with, the fundamental problem for evolving to the knowledge-intensive construction industry is examined. Here, the actual situation of the construction industry from the viewpoint of the knowledge-intensive side is outlined, and next, the fundamental problem for evolving to knowledge-intensive is examined and is extracted.
From the inside of the fundamental problem, “contract form and risk management” is taken up as one in which the priority is the highest for making knowledge-intensive.
