Abstract
The social concern with garbage reduction by composting has been growing in recent years. Especially in urban area, garbage reduction is a matter of urgency, because of the shortage of the waste treatment center. Therefore, some autonomies attempt to back up the household by fixing up or subsidizing the equipment for garbage composting. However, without space for return, it is impossible to run recycling system of recycled compost from garbage. In this article, we consider the garbage composting system in wards, Tokyo, on the basis of Green Open Space for Return, which is classified in terms of the quality of the recycled compost. And, through comparison between required space and existing space of Green Open Space for Return in a ward government, we try to show how to choice the system of garbage composting, rationally.
