Abstract

Whole campuses in Meijo University including the attached high school are being established the environmental management system based on the International Organization for Standardization 14001 in order to register in June 2002. Historical progress and present situation on an establishment of ISO 14001 are introduced here. The persons who are related ISO totaled 18, 182, consisting of 427 faculty-stuffs and 15, 495 students in the university, and 165 teacher-stuffs and 2, 095 students in the high school. A questionnaire was carried out a part of students in order to how students have sensed the certification/registration of ISO 14001. It is cleared that most of the students who answered the questionnaire are positive for the certification/registration of ISO 14001.
