Abstract
An unsteady flow analysis becomes essential to obtain a solution of hydraulic phenomena in river confluence and diversion. This study attempts to develop an unsteady threedimensional numerical model of a flow and bed variations in channel with river confluence. The simulation result shows fairly good agreement in the flow and bed topography with river's data. Comparison of the result of this model with that of a steady flow simulation model, gives the similar result in this case.
