Abstract
The role of flood defence trees are investigated on the basis of data of flood defence trees, flood damage, and aerophotos in the time of flood peak and the normal time. It is explained that how hydraulic phenomena of the flood flow change by the deforestaion of flood defence trees, and the construction of revetment in place of these trees. Future subjects for the conservation of flood defence trees are suggested for the harmony of the flood control and environment in rivers.
