This Paper introduces, as a case study, the breakwater to be constructed at YOBITO Fishery Harbor in Hokkaido. The west breakwater is constructed by “Pile Supported Reef”, taking into accountenvironmental condition of habitat conservation, soft ground and tranquility of waterway.
