Abstract

Aiming at reducing construction costs of harbor and port facilities, we developed the suction foundation. structure. The suction foundation structure is the structure which has cylinder-shaped foundation using water pressure gap between inside and outside of the foundation to sink the foundation.
This report shows the result of the field test and the examination of design method for the suction foundation structure.
