Abstract
In the construction of offshore waste disposal site, it is important to make water-proof bulkhead in which reliability is high. By this research, we did experimental confirmation about structure of a new water-proof bulkhead with high reliability. A new structure of water-proof bulkhead is the one that some materials such as concrete caisson, asphalt mastic, water proof sheet, and embedded steel-plate cell were combined. Therefore, in experiment, sealing performance on the bonded surface of the material was confirmed. In another experiment, the transformation performance of joint filler of concrete caisson which are composted of asphalt mastic and water proof sheet was confirmed. As a result, the structure of new water-proof bulkhead confirmed here, is applicable to offshore waste disposal site.
