Abstract
In recent years, many students do not experience kinematics consciously when they are children. Even undergraduates who learn mainly Mechanical Engineerings are no exception to this case. Therefore the undergraduates do not know basics knowledge of machine that conventional students learned from experience. In this paper, a method is proposed to learn merrily about mechanism. In the method, members of a class are given codices written by Leonard da Vinci as a problem. On the codices, basic mechanism is drawn. The members do modeling and simulate to understand the mechanism drawn on the codices. The proposed method have an effect is confirmed by a questionnaire from the members.
