Abstract
Recently, the portable device with the optical module has been expected to be miniaturized. However, the downsized optical module has two main problems: How to compensate the vibration of the optical axis, and how to reduce the power consumption in the active condition. We have developed the downsized tilting optical unit suitable for the portable device. When the vibration occurs, the piezo actuators control the optical unit′s angle to reduce the vibration of the optical axis. In this report, we explain the design technology for constructing the downsized tilt mechanism and the hysteresis reduction of the piezo actuators driven by high–frequency voltage.
