Abstract
In this paper, effect of acceleration and deceleration time by corner tracking motion on surface texture was examined for the relationship between feed speed and phase difference. The experiment employed the sequential machining path. The tool path set the corner tracking motion of the linear interpolation and the circular interpolation. The experimental and simulation results demonstrated that surface texture is changed with acceleration and deceleration time by corner tracking motion. The reason is that the phase difference is changed with the tracking error shortens tool path distance. In addition, it is found that surface texture is changed with the deviation between spindle speed command and measured spindle speed.
