Machining of hard brittle material under high hydrostatic pressure

Abstract

This study aims to realize damage free machining of hard brittle material by the ductile mode machining under high hydrostatic pressure. This paper reports a newly developed machining device that works under 200 MPa, and machining property under high hydrostatic pressure.
