Abstract
It is important to confirm the condition monitoring system for the quality control in the laser welding process. In the previous report, the comprehensive diagnostic technique was proposed to detect the fault condition in each laser welding process. The fault condition of the laser welding system is detected by the waveform analysis of optical strength of specific wavelength and the waveform analysis of the AE wave in each welding process. In this report, in order to improve the technique the precise diagnosis system using the waveform analysis technology, the MT system and neural network is discussed. From the experimental results, it was found that high accuracy diagnosis under the in-process of laser welding was obtained.
