Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the machining accuracy for high-precise surface texture generation. In basic experiments, measurement and evaluation of metal surface machined in end milling were carried out. The surface of S50C work material was machined by a square end mill, and machining difference surface roughness were measured using a scanning white light interferometer. From the data, features of the planar shape based on the influence of the tool and machining chips in flat machining were analyzed, and evaluation for higher precision was carried out.
