Abstract
To study the relation between milling operation and surface texture is useful for high-precision machining technology. In this study, A model for prediction of surface texture considering tool deflection, tool run-out and cutting edge profile and measurement instruments of tool run-out trajectory and cutting edge profile by optical method are developed. The relation between surface texture and tool run-out trajectory, cutting edge profile and tool deflection is investigated from the viewpoint of both analysis and experiment.
