Abstract

In recent years, the plastic injection molding technology of products with micro shapes in the nano or micro order are drawing interest. This report discusses attempts to mold a plastic gear with a diameter of 50μm using an injection molding machine mounted with a high speed cylinder and micro-cavity machined by focused iron beam (FIB).
