Abstract
Molecular self-assembling using biomolecules becomes one of the important technologies for fabrication of nanostructures in the bottom-up techniques. This paper describes the DNA rings-positioning onto silicon substrate based on scanning probe lithography using Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and the DNA rings-transformation using the super coiled structure of biotin-conjugated DNA ring. In the case of DNA rings-positioning, an experiment has been performed using partially oxidized silicon substrate as anchor points and biotin-conjugated-DNA rings. Anchor points are fabricated periodically on silicon substrate using AFM. After coating 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (γ-APTES) onto anchor point, DNA rings are positioned onto the anchor points. In the case of DNA rings-transformation, super coiled DNA rings are fabricated using biotin-conjugated-DNA rings and ligation protocol. After these procedures, the DNA rings-positioning and DNA rings-transformation was confirmed by an AFM.
