Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a system which sorts various objects, with a view to automating the manipulation of micro-sized objects by manipulator. This System is made to measure positions of various objects using image recognition on the assumption that the CCD camera is placed just above the stage. This system uses a scara hand robot with two degrees of freedom to sort detected objects. In this paper, we propose a measurement of position and sorting technique for using prepared image of object, and report the effectiveness of this system in the experiment.
