Abstract
Recently, there is a demand for actuators which can be used in the high magnetic fields. They are used for medical instruments and componential analysis equipments. The aim of this research is the development of a nonmagnetic cylindrical ultrasonic motor that can be used in the high magnetic fields. This motor is used for the rotation of the high-resolution solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis. We have fabricated the ultrasonic motor for a solid-state NMR and evaluated the driving performance of this motor. Additionally, we have succeeded in obtaining the 1H-NMR signal by using this motor under the condition.
