Fabrication of a microneedle using human hair

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to fabricate a microneedle using human hair with a diameter of 80-100 μm. And, we want to use this microneedle to inject medication into the skin and to can remove blood from a blood vessel. This time, a drilling machine and solvent were used to drill a hollow needle bore into the center of a human hair and to make the tip of that fine. we examined the passage of fluid in the 1mm-length hollow human hair.
