Abstract
Recent years, It has been increased efforts to analyze internal structural changes in functional polymer materials using birefringence measurement. Many kinds of measurement procedures have been proposed, but no reports have described instruments satisfying for both dynamic and two-dimensional measurement. A high-speed area sensor with polarizers operating on multiple adjacent pixels is used in this study. By using these methods, micro time resolution of measurement was achieved by an algorithm for a Stokes polarimeter. In this paper, accuracy improvement by modification of optical system and spatial compensation algorithm was achieved as second step.
