Abstract
Fringe projection method for 3-D shape measurement is used extensively because of flexibility of arrangement. Spatial phase shift method is useful for analyzing fringe phase from one-shot image. However, measurement error will occur if fringe spacing changes according to shape of test object, as the method is analysis technique on condition of the spacing being constant. The spatial phase shift is given in the direction perpendicular to the fringe projection direction in this experiment, although phase shift method is generally applied along projected direction. Phase shift conditions can be set independently to the measurement sensitivity decided by projection conditions in this method. Furthermore, it is confirmed that detected phase accuracy can improve sharply by proposed method.
