Abstract
This report presentes a method to simulate deformed surface skin caused by contact between human hand skin and product surfaces. The human hand is modeled as a "quasi-rigid" object. Boussinesq approximation is modified to realize compressing-swelling effect. And point force-based discretization is used to be suitable for irregular surface triangular mesh. Our method can efficiently simulate visual deformation of fingerpads and palm with obvious compressing-swelling effect and can estimate contact force and contact area. In addition, simulation was verified experimentally.
