Abstract
With the improvement of 3D-CAD, the machining of the free-curved surface can be realized easily, and the designing of the parts including the cams and pistons for internal combustion engines are enabled to create by using this software. To manufacture these parts, special processing methods are required because of the complexity of shapes and the property of the workpiece. Therefore, processing method for realizing a three-dimensional curved surface have a problem in the productivity and the profile accuracy. In this study, we aim for realizing the three-dimensional curved surface with high efficiency by the NACS-Turning. In this report we suppress vibration transmission with the high speed motion of the tables and inspect the effectiveness through actual turning.
