Grinding with application of ultrasonic excited grinding fluid

Abstract

Wheel loading is one of the most serious problem on high efficiency grinding, creep feed grinding for difficult-to-grind material by using finer grain wheel. In this study, the ultrasonic energy is applied on grinding fluid by simple device. In this report, the thermo-couple was embeded in work. The ultrasonic oscillation reduced the grindig heat.
