Abstract
When an electric current is supplied in a magnetic field, Ampere force occurs in the direction that is perpendicular to direction of the electric current and the magnetic field. The purpose of this study is to develop the bearing using Ampere Force. By setting magnets around a bearing and suppling an electric current to a shaft in the magnets, Ampere force is occurred on the shaft. The shaft is floated by the force and it is avoided from contacting with the inner surface of the bearing. This proposed bearing was produced experimentally.
