Abstract
This research aimed to predict static characteristics of fiber reinforced thermoplastic products manufactured through injection molding via computer simulation. The fiber orientation was calculated from the image results of the X-ray computed tomography measurements. The fiber length was measured from observation through microscope. The structural analysis via FE simulation was carried out based on the physical properties dependent on the fibers. The validity of proposed method and the influence of the molding conditions in injection molding to the static characteristics were examined.
