Abstract
We propose an adjective based parametric design method and found that many of geometrical parameters do not have any relation with the determined adjectives. Keeping those unrelated parameters away from design models increases accuracy of getting desired ones and variety of designs as unimportant parameters do not restrict some other possible designs anymore. This study aims to show how a method can be developed for visually evaluate relationship between the adjectives and the model parameters. We use an eye-tracking device which measures subjects′ attention objectively by recording gaze data of subjects. There are many cognitive researches conducted using the eye-tracking technology, which show certain relations between human emotions and their gaze data. Starting from this finding, the parameters will be evaluated according to their attractiveness and relations with the given adjectives for subjects by the help of using eye-tracking tools such as area of interests (AOI), gaze plot and heat map.
