Development of Snow Removal Robot for Burden Reduction of Snow Removal Work

Abstract

In the situation that it is difficult to use the snow removal machine such a road construction site, the snow removing work by human power has been a big burden. So, the purpose of this study is to reduce the time and burden for the work by developing a robot that autonomously removes snow at the worker's overtime. In this paper, we report the snow removal mechanism and how to travel on snow.
