Research on tool path of CL data and NC program in S-shaped machining test

Abstract

The S-shaped machining test is a cutting performance test of a 5-axis machining center proposed by China. It will soon be adopted by ISO as a reference method. Although CAM software is essential for this test, CAM software has not been specified. And post processors for outputting NC programs are versatile or dedicated to each machine. So it may affect the result. In this research, we verified that the NC program runs on a real machine.
