Abstract

For 3D measurement using line scanner + coordinate measurement machine(CMM) system, calibration between the TCP segment of CMM and line scanner is required. In this study, we introduce the reinforcement learning that established the calibration algorithm in neural network. Transformation matrix generated from learned model sometimes accomplished the equivalent to or greater accuracy than our commercialized algorithm.
