Titanium alloy has a high specific strength in the temperature range of 600 degrees or less. For this reason, it is used as a material for fans and compressors of jet engines. Until now, turbine blades made of titanium alloy have been machined using free-form surface shape machining using a ball end mill. However, there is a problem that the machining time becomes long because high machining surface accuracy is required. Therefore, it is indispensable to study a new processing method that achieves both high accuracy and high efficiency processing. It has been reported that driven rotary machining of hardened steel has improved the machined surface and improved efficiency. In this study, hail machining is performed using a driven rotary tool, and the effect of different cutting conditions on machining characteristics is investigated. In addition, the effect of differences in cutting environment on machining characteristics was examined. As a result, the tool life was the longest at a feed rate of 9000 mm / min. In addition, since the adhesions were suppressed in the MQL environment, the tool damage was reduced and the tool life was extended.
