Abstract

To check the status of bolt fastening in large-scale structures, nuts are marked and the change in position of the markings before and after fastening is visually determined. However, this conventional method requires time, costs, and sometimes results in inconsistencies in judgment. Therefore, this study aims to automate the checking process by using image processing to identify the fastening state, and to establish an inspection method that omits marking in the future.
