Estimation of grinding conditions by machine learning

Abstract

Grinding conditions affect shape accuracy in ultra-precision grinding. However, due to various reasons, there is an error between the set value of the grinding condition and the actual value. Therefore, in this study, we estimated the grinding conditions from the state of the ground surface for the purpose of clarifying the error of the grinding conditions.
