Visualization of drilling operation using Raspberry Pi and its application to skill training system

Abstract

A simple and practical skill training system was prototyped using Raspberry Pi. The method of displaying the data “visualized” in the skill training system had a significant impact on the accuracy and stability of the work. The training method that utilized the visualized data was more effective than the training method that gave verbal instructions, and the reproducibility and stability of the work were improved. In addition, it was found that it is possible to acquire the work in a short and efficient time by training while displaying the results of the work in real time compared to the model data.
