Abstract

Lensless imaging with Fresnel zone aperture is expected to be applied as a distance sensor because the distance information to the object is included in the acquired data. Therefore, there is need to improve the accuracy of object distance measurement. However, previous studies have experimentally confirmed a decrease in measurement accuracy with an increase in the object distance. In this paper we simulate the effect of object distance on measurement accuracy and report the validity of the experimental results.
