Abstract
Acquiring knowledge and skills is a form of behavioral modification. It could be understood by the framework of operant conditioning.Motivation, incentive, and other everyday concepts related toeducation can be uniquely explained in terms of schedules ofreinforcement, three-term contingency, and other behavioristic ideas.I would like to introduce these ideas and to discuss their usefulnessin improving teaching skills.
