Date of correction: February 24, 2009Reason for correction: -Correction: ABSTRACTDetails: Wrong : Methods for computing the PSE from the constant methods' data have been reviewed. None of them are either suf-ficient or adequate for computing mean and standard deviation from the stand-point of psychometrics as well as statistics. The method of two categories is suggested to be the best way of determining the PSE. When the data are obtained by three-category method, the procedures of the method of right-and-wrong cases may be a good solution for the transformation of the data. All of the procedures of com-puting the thresholds can be applied to the computation of the point of subjective equality, if the data are transformed into two-category type. Notice has been given of the application of the summation method to the computation of the PSE.
