Creation of a Safety Scale for Car Using a Simple Model Driving

Abstract

Japan's traffic fatalities in 2020 remained at a historic low of 2,839 as rising COVID-19 cases led to a significant decline in travel and transportation. The author previously defined quality engineering as creating and using scale to reduce loss, but it should not only be defined, it should be done. In this study, we created a driving model of a simple car and created a safety scale. Although it was a simple model, we were able to evaluate the accuracy of the safety scale, identify dangerous driving patterns, and extract some problems. We believe that the research results will also help reduce traffic accidents.
