Abstract
In many cases, the strength of material after welding is used to show the quality of spot welding. But this type of evaluation leads to reliance on destructive tests and is difficult to observe the situation after the welding is completed. Therefore, evaluation is made either by using some substitute characteristics or by periodical checks during production. ln this study, a welding process was optimized for the reduction of maintenance costs for a welding process by evaluating the function of the welded parts.
