13. Signal to Noise Ratio for the case signals and noises are confounded

Abstract

There are many cases where we can't specify signal levers but we can observe them. In those cases, signals and noises are confounded. The methods to calculate S/N ratios for those cases is discussed in this chapter. It is especially important for the cases where there are indicative noise factors.
