Abstract
It has been emphasized in recent quality engineering discussions that signal factors and noise factors come from customer's conditions. The authors had studied many injection molding projects in the past. First, hold pressure was used as the signal, and later, mold dimension was used as the signal in the transformability approach. ln recent studies, screw rpm was considered as the signal from the viewpoint of the injection molding function. ln this study, the customer's conditions were used as the signal. Gauges were produced by the injection molding machine. These gauges were used as the standards for evaluating dimensions. The SN ratio was calculated from the load and deformation relationship.
