Abstract
 Quality improvement activity in Iizuka Hospital is based on the annual quality control (QC) circle- activity. Through this, all staff in our hospital can gain the talent for total quality management (TQM). They can check the status quo, find the problem to be solved, analyze the causes of it and then take measures to reach the higher level of quality. In this paper, the history of TQM in our hospital and its results are introduced.
